Evelina and Marcus Ferrar have translated a much-loved Slovene folk tale into English. It’s called “A Goat Trial”, set in the medieval town of Višnja Gora in Slovenia, and as the title suggests it’s a nonsense story. It’s juicy and funny, and you fold it out to read – 1.60 metres long. The book is created by Slovenian designer Robert Kuhar, who also made the BSS website. Originally written by Josip Jurčič, this version has both English and Slovene texts.
