The British-Slovene Society warmly invites you to join our annual Christmas service of Carols and Readings at St Martin Ludgate Church in London, 40 Ludgate Hill, London EC4M 7DE, on Friday 4th December at 7 pm.
Organist Aljoša and his choir will lead the singing and Leto Križanič Žorž will entertain us on harp. If you would like to read one of the Christmas texts, in English or Slovene, contact James Walker on jameswalker5330@gmail.com.
After the service, we will again serve potica, wine and soft drinks, and stay on to chat.
We thank the Reverend Jacqui Miller for officiating at the service, the Sekne family in Slovenia for giving the potica, and the Slovenian Embassy for donating Slovene wine. Also the Office for Slovenians Abroad for financial support.
As the final carol of the service urges, “Come joyful and triumphant … sing in exultation!”
See you there!
