During the school year, Slovene language classes for children with Slovene roots take place on Saturdays in the classroom of St. Marylebone Parish Church (17 Marylebone Road, London NW1 5LT). They are for children from the age of 4 upwards, and are organised by the Slovenian Ministry of Education, Science and Sport in cooperation with the Slovenian National Education Institute. Children are divided into three groups according to their knowledge of Slovene and age.

There is no charge for the tuition; parents only contribute towards photocopying costs once a year.

The first group starts at 10:30 a.m. and the last group finishes at 2:50 pm.

The teacher is Urška Rozman, a professor of Slovene language and comparative literature.
